Take Action Now

The current economic crisis poses a major challenge. 31 of 50 states are underfunded for their 2009 budgets. As a result, states and municipalities are forced to cut work forces and spending, as well as investment in our institutions of higher education. These measures have ripple effects on the economy and our nation’s progress.

As the newest stimulus package is approved, this report is a plea to reconsider now, or in the near future, the amount of funds allocated for the construction of new facilities on our nation’s college and university campuses. Take Action Now
